I’m going to be attending the 10th FENS Forum of Neuroscience meeting in Copenhagen in a few week’s time. I’ll be there representing Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), who have a joint exhibit with the company Precision Nanosystems. I should make it clear that I do not represent Precision Nanosystems, but I’m hoping to go on joint visits with them to some customers in the Copenhagen area, due to some tie-in with their products and those of IDT. And, since You Do Bio has just moved into the neuroscience arena, with our representation of BrainBits, there is a lot of tie-in.
If anyone is interested in meeting with Precision Biosystems, please contact You Do Bio using the form on the Contact Page.
Now, many of you might want to know a bit more about Precision Nanosystems. So, you can get the chance to do that in an upcoming webinar. The webinar description reads
“Microfluidic-mediated self-assembly of liposomes and polymer nanoparticles expands the strategies available to the formulation scientist for the encapsulation and delivery of hydrophobic compounds.
In this webinar Dr. James Taylor and Dr. Shyam Garg will explore the encapsulation of a model hydrophobic drug, Coumarin-6, by PLGA nanoparticles and cholesterol-containing liposomes. Microfluidic process parameters and nanoparticle compositions will be investigated, and their influence on particle size, polydispersity and encapsulation efficiency will be discussed.”
